Background
Established 2024, CityStreetRN is an organization of volunteer nurses dedicated to health promotion and education. Our nurses are out in the street, face to face with the unsheltered community providing vital health education and assessment to improve quality of life.
Mission
CityStreetRN exists to educate every unsheltered person to live a healthier life.
What We Do
We interact with vulnerable populations in various settings such as battered women's shelters, homeless shelters, standalone mental health facilities and tent communities, city streets and pop-up clinics. We assess vital signs and offer essential education on how to manage chronic illnesses and provide resources to local referral sources in the community.
